Poetry Anthology

http://prezi.com/u4wlipafsyht/fire-and-ice/

I have chosen the poem "Fire and ice" by Robert Frost because it is about something that is really unpredictable and some time we have thought of: the end of the world. Is it going to be by fire or by ice? Who knows? These are some ways to think of it. Both fire and ice are equal in destruction.
The writer uses methaphors. He compares the fire with desire. This comparison suggests that Frost views desire as something that consumes and destroys. Another example is the comparison between ice and hate. I think that he compares them because ice makes things be rigid and cold, and it also causes breaks among things.
The theme of this poem is the end of the world.
